The oil shale deposits in Colorado hold an estimated 1 trillion barrels of oil, which is equal to the worlds proven oil reserves but oil production from oil shale is speculative.

Utah was however the fastest growing state in the United States in 2008 and St. George, Utah has been listed as the fastest growing metropolitan area in the United States from 2000 through 2005. Another interesting fact about Utah is that Utah is one of only three U.S. states that have only lines of latitude and longitude for boundaries the other two states are Colorado and Wyoming.
