There are some really strange ways of getting fired. I have covered a few in other articles around the site. I think this one really tops all of them. Shenoa Vild is a former waitress from Trophy's in San Diego, California. Former waitress because she said her boss fired her because she didn't want to wear makeup. She had been working for Trophy's for 5 years when Trophy's was sold and new management wanted to women to wear makeup. Personally I think this place should be boycotted until they can get their acts together. Some good news is Shenoa Vild has found and started another job as a bartender apparently at a place where females aren't required to wear makeup.

I know times are hard and all and there are plenty of people looking for jobs. But seriously not wearing makeup? I can't believe someone would be fired for that. Sure if you are selling makeup, in a field where you are paid off your looks. But I can see the other side also. A business does have a dress code and I am sure too much makeup can be worse than no makeup. So as a business I believe you have to rely on your employees knowing what looks good on them and dressing accordingly. At the end of the day it is this business owner’s money and he didn't feel like sharing it with her. Being told it was for not wearing makeup I have to say if you are in San Diego, California do not eat at Trophy's instead give your money to someone else that will value the rights of their employees and not force someone to wear makeup.
