Q and A with Jeremy Church
What is your name, what should we call you?
Jeremy Church is good.
When is your birthday?
April 28.
Were you born in the US, if so what state?
I was born in Colorado.
Do you still live in Colorado?
Yes I still live in Colorado. Currently I am living in Lakewood very close to where I grew up at.
So you grew up where you currently live, you don’t live at home do you?
No, I moved out of the parents house. I currently live in a condominimum very close to the belmar development. I actually spend a lot of time walking around that shoping development.
What else do you do when you aren’t making money or updating your website?
Depends on the day and the weather. Like I said earlier I spend time walking around the belmar shoping center looking at the stores, people watching, seeing what new stores have opened or what stores have closed. When the weather gets bad I like spending time indoors so watching a movie or trying out somewhere to eat. I also spend a lot of time on getting various websites up and going.
Other websites, mind sharing some?
Sure I have a few that I am working on getting going one of them is www.onthesidephotography.com. It is a personal project right now and I am still working on getting it going so there is no link and no publicly viewable site. The goal and plan for the site is a blog style site featuring a user forum and photo gallery. Ideally it will have information about all aspects of photography lens reviews, camera reviews, places to take photographs, information about locations, how to set up a studio, setting up a darkroom, tips for shooting subjects and a whole assortment of topics that would come in handy for a person looking into photography. The forum and blog would encourage users to provide information as well as look for help on their photographs. When I type it all out it sounds like a ton of work.
Photography?
Yes its sort of a hobby. Im not really good at it but it is something fun that I get to take part in when I am not paying bills.
What do you think your greatest weakness is?
Wow, I guess my biggest weakness is I don’t just want to meet deadlines, I prefer to complete a project or task well ahead of schedule.
That doesn’t sound like a weakness. What is your greatest strength?
I guess it doesn’t when I put it that way. My greatest strength would have to be work ethic or something. I have pretty good time management skills and am very organized and efficient. I also take great pride in work that I have completed.
Do you take work home?
When I need to I have no problem taking work home. I realize the importance of meeting deadlines and getting projects and work completed on time.
If you know someone is 100% wrong about something how do you handle it?
Wait a minute, I think I remember this one from an interview. Well it really depends on the person and situation. I have no problem telling someone they are wrong. But I will also avoid confrontations so if I know how to get the results and the other party isn’t going to know how the results were obtained I have no problem going about it the correct way getting the results requested and providing the results.
